EVENT'S FORMULA
ROUTE
The main HARD elements during the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship – HERO Challenge in Dąbrowa Górnicza will be STRENGTH and the ability to overcome technical sections of stones and short climbs. Each loop will include about 1,200 meters of stones and boulders!
HERO Challenge is the only route of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship series that combines elements of the most demanding motorcycle disciplines:
– Hard Enduro sections – short, steep and technical (often filled with stones) climbs,
– faster Enduro sections,
– fragments of motocross tracks with hard surface and deep sand,
– SuperEnduro elements.
We will also make sure that the route is wide at critical points and has several optimal lines.
DAY 1
SATURDAY
During Saturday’s prologue, each competitor starts individually. The loop will be 15-20 minutes long. Participants can ride it twice, and best time counts.
Evening prologue in the center of Dąbrowa Górnicza:
27 riders with the best times will qualify for the evening SuperEnduro race in an incredibly atmospheric place located in the heart of Dąbrowa Górnicza – Fabryka Pełna Życia. It is a complex of abandoned, old factories in the very center of the city, where a specially prepared track will be built.
The race will be held in the evening with artificial lighting, accompanied by electrifying music. Competitors will fight for a better starting position during the Sunday race.
DAY 2
SUNDAY
Sunday Main Race:
Competitors will be divided into two groups according to their times from the Saturday prologue.
The morning will start with a 2-hour race for the second group. At the starting gate of the first, strongest group, we will welcome 120 riders with the best times from the prologue – they will face the 3-hour main race.
